It’s tough to beat the thrill of logging a new personal record. Setting a PR for time or distance, or conquering a hill or trail section that used to kick your tail is awesome. It’s proof that your hard work and sacrifice were not in vain. It’s giving the middle finger to those who bet against you. It’s just really freaking fun.

One of our favorite places to ride is what our group affectionately call the Coffer Loop. The Coffer Loop is a 15 mile ride that includes two outer roads connected by rural highways on each end.

Growing up in the 80s was amazing and I am convinced it is the best decade ever. With no smart phones, iPads, or internet we had to seek ways to entertain ourselves. This meant hours spent outdoors. Yes, you read that correctly, we actually enjoyed the great outdoors.
